Welcome to the 1st Workshop in programming for MOHID. Except maybe for the first topic, all presentations have a hands-on approach and expect the participant to interact with the MOHID code and start developing.

Pre-registration

Logistics

  • Date: 21-05-2010, opening at 9:30.
  • Place: salão de reuniões at MARETEC, pav. Mecânica I, 1st floor, IST-UTL.
  • Internet access: Edu-roam or Edu-roam guest (login: mohidcode, pass: VSm6Z2).

  • 10:00 - 10:30, Getting the latest version, making a simple edit, comenting, committing, and reporting by G.Riflet
  • 10:30 - 11:00, The modular object-oriented philosophy in MOHID in the code, by G.Riflet
  • 11:00 - 11:30, Adding new features in an existing module: creating a new keyword, by G.Riflet
  • 11:30 - 12:00, The fillmatrix module, by G.Riflet
  • 12:00 - 12:30, Creating a new tool in MOHID, by G.Riflet

LUNCH-TIME

  • 14:30 - 14:45, Building scripts that check the validity of the code, by G.Riflet
